When it comes to finding the best video production companies in Toronto it can often seem overwhelming. There are literally thousands of them to choose from.
It seems like every kid out there with an iphone has a website and is a so called “story teller,” but don’t be fooled by a flashy website, social ads or page ranking as this only means they’ve figured out the system and are reaching you as they intended.
The one thing I’ve learned from 17 years of experience producing content for the world’s biggest TV Networks, Brands, Ad Agencies and PR firms is that story telling is not something one can claim they’re good at unless others truly agree.

Nature is the way you were raised and the people that raised you. In my case I have a father who was a successful film maker. He spent his entire life telling stories and I learned from a young age how to deliver on a story that invokes the emotion the story warrants.
Nurture is what you learn by doing. In the film making and advertising world you learn something new on every project. Many of the things you learn are from trial and error & rabbit holes that you’ve had to climb out of. But the more you do something the better you get.
When looking for the right content agency or production company the real proof is in the pudding. In other words, watch their work and see who they’ve produced content for in the past.
If the videos you watch are mind blowing, then you’ve found a great candidate. If they’re only mediocre then move on. Your brand is your baby and putting out branded content that’s just ok can actually hurt your brand as opposed to help it like you intend.
